oliver rambles! 🐰

—he reads a lot of fiction because he likes to retell the story to his friend back home. he gets really into it when he starts rambling about his favourite stories, very different from his usual skittish self. if you point it out he'll get shy and shrink back tho!

—he can't control his magic yet and is always so close to overblotting. his um (idk yet i wana change it) is dangerous and explosive so he's always desperately trying to calm himself down all the time. (it doesn't help that he's already so panicky but he's trying :^)) other people also look out for him! but not too overbearingly because that might backfire and stress him out more. rip.

—he loves waking up early. he thinks mornings are peaceful especially when he's the first one up and he can enjoy a slow breakfast before class. hot choco is a must! he likes eating breakfast outside and listening to the birds, enjoying the sun, etc.

—another reason he likes bringing a book everywhere is cause he likes that he has something to hold. if he doesn't, his hands start to fiddle around together. (hold his hand to calm him down :^) jk... unless?)

—goes home to friend every weekend. friend insists he doesn't have to, but oliver worries. oliver fusses over him a lot (maybe even too much) and acts as his caretaker when he's home. friend just sighs and lets him because...

— ⚠️angst warning: he knows oliver is like that to him bc of the guilt. even tho he's moved on and forgave him already, oliver still can't seem to get over it. although it probably doesn't help that his friend is still stuck at home, not fully recovered, so the reminder is still always there.

—it sends oliver to a nervous breakdown when he "fails" at taking care of his friend. even the smallest stuff like seeing his friend walk to a near market sends him over the edge. friend is pretty good at calming him down and setting his own boundaries tho ("im allowed to go out whenever i want") it makes oliver feel conflicted, because he hatss it when he does that but he also hates himself for hating it. its complicated lol.

—ANYWAY! angst aside, oliver gets random cravings for knowledge. the library is his go to when he's bored. he reads non fiction stuff like its fiction ("ohh so that's how they made it! woah...") he doesn't really do anything about what he reads about, but he's satisfied just knowing about it. he doesn't go outside much so this is kinda his way of exploring. in a way.

Leebit!

made by me, crocheted the body and knitted the shirt, then sewed the details ^-^

I made this for my sister for her birthday a while ago. I am so proud of this! It's not perfect but it's made with love 🥰

I made up the pattern by looking at photos of Leebit plushies and two crocheted bunny plushie patterns, so I can't ever do a similar one again lol. The shirt was done by knitting the pieces and trying it on and then sewing the pieces together. And there's a button behind so the shirt can be taken off (my sister made a sundress and a hat for it too, how adorable). My sister has called it 'the best Leebit' so you know this might actually be perfect.
